King Richard III: Unearthing the King eBook:

"Taking On the Tudors! In this short work, author Mike Luoma looks at the years of character assassination and assault the reputation of King Richard III of England (1483-5) has undergone, and more recent efforts to look at his place in history with greater objectivity.
Just as Richard III's bones needed to be discovered and recovered, so too his true history and reputation required exhumation. Somewhere between the vilification of the Tudor "traditionalists" and the hagiography of modern-day "Ricardians" lies a portrait of a real man and king. Luoma attempts to shovel off the accrued dirt of historical maligning in the first half, then reconstructs Richard's character with an (attempted) objective look at his assumption of the throne in June of 1483.

An excellent introduction to the man and the controversy that is Richard III!"
