Aleksander Poniewierski's brilliant new book SPEED: No Limits in the Digital Era painlessly guides us into our new age of interconnectivity, making it easy to understand just how fast things are changing, and where we're headed. Employing a light automotive metaphor and providing historical context from our previous three Industrial Revolutions, the book is a great read - Alex knows his stuff! It's thoroughly researched as well, and includes commentary from leaders and experts from Google, Cisco Systems, Apple, IBM, EY, the European Commission, NATO, Tribal Planet, and Harvard.

The chapters each break down where we've been, where we are now, where we're going, and how we should get there, in light of these subjects. It is well written. Part of that lies in how well organized it is. And yet, the structure doesn't stifle the storytelling aspects of Alex's work - he entertains as he instructs, his authorial voice consistently mindful of keeping the attention of his reading/listening audience, even while relating occasionally dry information.
